Sameday Worldwide

Company History

Sameday Worldwide is a part of The Day & Ross Transportation Group.  Established over 50 years ago, The Day & Ross Transportation Group has grown into a well recognized brand along with its relative companies: Sameday Worldwide, Day & Ross General Freight, Day & Ross Dedicated Logistics, Fastrax and Sable Warehousing.  With the growth of all companies under the Day & Ross corporate umbrella the group has become one of the largest national transportation companies in Canada.  Based in Hartland, New Brunswick, The Day & Ross Transportation Group is a wholly owned division of the privately held parent company McCain Foods Limited.

The birth of Sameday Worldwide started in 1978 with the creation of Sameday Courier, at the time a well known Atlantic Canadian true same day operation.  Sameday Courier offered same day service in New Brunswick exclusively between Fredericton, Saint John and Moncton.

Day & Ross, seeing the value in this organization, along with the addition of Right-O-Way Air Express & Cargo, a well known service provider in Central and Western Canada, acquired these companies and in the fall of 1992 the two companies were merged to create an organization which could handle courier, express and cargo clients while expanding their terminal network to reach anywhere in Canada.  In 2008, Sameday Right-O-Way rebranded to Sameday Worldwide to enhance the perception of where the company is directed.

Sameday Worldwide provides courier, express and cargo service to our customers throughout North America.  We specialize in the moving of shipments in the niche of heavy courier and light LTL efficiently across Canada and the United States.  All of our services can be customized to fit the way you do business.
